💥💥TOXIC PLANTS FOR CATS💥💥
Cat owners should be aware that some flowers at home may be toxic to cats.
Some of them are:
Ivy
Some common signs of plant toxicity are diarrhea, difficulty in breathing, salivation, muscle weakness, fever, over-stimulation, depression, and abdominal pain.
Krina
All parts of the plant, including pollen, lead to nephrotoxicosis. You should also pay attention to the water in the jar that has lilies, and this is particularly dangerous for cats.
Oleander
It contains cardiac glycosides that can cause various cardiovascular and gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, bradycardia, abdominal pain, arrhythmia and sudden death.
Swordfish
It contains insoluble oxalic crystals that irritate the oral mucosa. It causes severe pain, difficulty in swallowing, salivation, vomiting, lethargy and anorexia.
Tulips
The whole plant is toxic. It causes irritation in the mouth and esophagus and in larger amounts can cause difficulty in breathing and fast heartbeat.
Cyclamen
It is a common plant with poisonous properties (terpenoids) in cats. It causes oral irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, cardiac abnormalities, epileptic seizures.
Aloe may cause vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, anorexia, tremor and change in urine color.
