💥💥 In CYPRUS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOOGY the "GOLDEN ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION" award 🌳🌳
The "Golden Protector of the Environment" award won the Cyprus University of Technology, which is the first green University of Cyprus to which this distinction is awarded.
The criteria for the "Environmental Protection Gold Award", awarded by the Cyprus Center for Environmental Research and Education, are environmental management as an integral part of the operational policy, the establishment of environmental practices and actions, the reduction of the consumption of natural resources from the adoption of appropriate best practices, the strengthening of local environmental actors and the undertaking of environmentally friendly actions in the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility screen.
As noted in a TEPAK statement, the Candidate Agency's evaluation was carried out by the Scientific Evaluation Committee for the Pancyprian Environmental Awards for Organizations and Businesses 2018, in the presence of the Environment Commissioner and representatives of all cooperating bodies.
The process assessed the organization's commitment to respect and protection of the environment, environmental policy, environmental awareness and education, and environmental corporate social responsibility.
The awards will take place on January 22, 2019, at a Special Official Ceremony at the Presidential Palace and the awards will be awarded by the President of the Republic.
