💥💥👌Environmental
Movement: "Review Towers Erection Policy"
A series
of queries for the licensing of very tall buildings and the infrastructure
required, the Environmental Movement of Cyprus to the government and the state
agencies concerned is being reported in the context of the recent worker injury
to an erected tower in Limassol.
The
Movement points out the difficulty of transporting the wounded from the 13th
floor to the ground, which eventually became a crane in the space, while
continuing in the announcement it specifically mentions. "" If the
building was over and there was no crane, imagine the dangers for the injured
person's life and how he would be transported to the ground from the 13th
floor. "
Referring
to the statements of the Fire Brigade Director, who had indicated that Cyprus
does not have the appropriate equipment for managing injuries or fire incidents
in very tall buildings, the Cyprus Environmental Movement calls on the
government and the state agencies involved to review the erection permitting
policy very tall buildings.
