Limassol is going to "wear" her Christmas spirit with upgraded decoration and focus on the brand new Christmas tree at Gregori Afxentiou square (Administration).
Speaking to the Cyprus News Agency, Limassol Mayor Nikos Nikolaidis said that this year's Christmas decoration has been completely upgraded, mainly on the Independence Street, while the new tree with ornaments and sculptures at the Governor's Square will bring us added in our childhood.
The Limassol Municipality, continued, brings Christmas "on the go" in terms of the artistic program, as artists of the city will offer Christmas melodies in various parts of Limassol.
Mr. Nicolaidis invited the audience to visit the city center and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere that will be created, as well as the various activities that will include songs, dances, art workshops, roller coasters, stilts, etc.
On the day of the lighting of the new tree, which will take place on Gregori Afxentiou square, Saturday 1 December, at 6 pm, Santa Claus, with his escort, will reach Independence Street on his illuminated chariot while the children can visit his workshop to get their gifts.
